Important Dates
- The application form for the CMAT is usually released in February or March.
- The CMAT exam is typically conducted in May or June.
- The results of the CMAT are declared in July or August.
The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national-level entrance exam for admission to management programmes in India. It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Exam Pattern
- The CMAT is a computer-based test (CBT) of three hours duration.
- The exam is divided into five sections:
- Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation (20 questions)
- Logical Reasoning (20 questions)
- Verbal Ability (20 questions)
- General Awareness (20 questions)
- Innovation and Entrepreneurship (20 questions)
- Each question carries 4 marks, and there is no negative marking.
