Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)
The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national-level entrance examination conducted in India. It is used for admission to various postgraduate management programs, such as Master of Business Administration (MBA), Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), and similar programs, offered by various colleges and institutes across India. CMAT is one of the popular management entrance exams in the country.
The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a three-hour business aptitude test administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It serves as a gateway for admission to MBA/PGDM courses and holds significant prominence among MBA entrance exams in India. With an annual participation of approximately 70,000 candidates, CMAT’s popularity is notable. The CMAT scores hold acceptance in around 1,300 B-schools, encompassing both government and private institutions across India. - Age Limit : There is no upper age limit for appearing in the CMAT exam.
- Educational Qualification : You should possess a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum Marks Requirement : No specific minimum aggregate marks are necessary in your graduation for applying to the CMAT 2024 exam.
- Final Year Candidates : Candidates in their final year of graduation are eligible to apply for the NTA CMAT 2024 exam.
- Number of Attempts : There is no restriction on the number of attempts an individual can take for the CMAT exam.
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) Registration Process

- New Candidate Registration : Begin by registering as a new candidate on the official NTA-CMAT 2025website.
- Application Form Submission : Log in using the credentials generated during the previous step and complete the CMAT 2024 application form.
- Upload Scanned Images : Upload scanned images of your photograph and signature in the appropriate image format as specified.
- Finalize Registration : Complete the submission process of the CMAT registration form.
- Application Form Print : Print a copy of the application form for future reference and correspondence concerning the CMAT examination.
